Philippe Bailleur

After his training at the Royal Military Academy, Philippe worked for several years at the Melsbroek military air base. Just when he was appointed as personnel manager in 1996, one of the C-130 transport aircraft of the Belgian Air Force crashed in Eindhoven. All crew members (BE) and most passengers (NL) died. 41 families were directly affected, and many more friends and colleagues.

This profound event marked a turning point in his career: he fully chose the path of organizational and personal development. Philippe has now combined several professional roles for more than 20 years that are inextricably linked:

He works as an organizational coach in the - sometimes challenging - practice of both small and large organizations. What he encounters in practice always stimulates him to investigate further. He does this through various trainings, in-depth professional literature, exchanges with colleagues, and introspection. From this often arise new concepts that he, as an author, is eager to translate into blogs, articles, and books. He then shares these experiences as a teacher, and with much passion, through numerous long-term training courses. The driving force behind this flywheel is supporting organizations to become Forces for Good: good for the planet, good for society, good for the organization itself, and, of course, the employees.

A format for Supervision

As an organizational developer, you often get stuck in a web of unclarity, entangled by the dynamics of the client system or your own family system.

Supervision is a good way to get things a little more clear. After more than 10 years of training and supervising organizational coaches, Philippe developed an easy format to start exploring situations where you start getting on a slippery slope as a facilitator of change.

During this session, Philippe will share the format, apply it to at least one real-life case, and show how the format can be refined to fit your practice. At the end of this session, you'll have a strong format to integrate in your own work.
